Best wishes to Mr. Eden!
This week, we say farewell to our custodian, Mr. Eden. Friday, January 31st, will be his last day with us at St. Agnes. Beginning next week, Mr. Eden will be joining a new school community in our board.
Mr. Eden has been a source of positive energy, and hard work every day during his time at St. Agnes. He has been instrumental in supporting EcoSchools and Healthy Schools, and works with students and staff to keep our building safe and clean every day. We wish Mr. Eden nothing but the best!
Our new custodian will be Mrs. Hutchings during the school day, and Mr. McGrath for the after school hours. Mr. McGrath takes over for Mr. Jankowski who moved on to one of our secondary schools in the new year. Welcome to both of our new custodial staff members.

We have been encouraged to redouble our efforts in our schools by reminding/ re-enforcing:
- good hygiene – washing hands thoroughly and with soap or sanitizer;
- covering one’s mouth and nose when one sneezes or coughs;
- staff and students stay home when ill.
- It is also wise to get a yearly flu vaccine, available from clinics or pharmacies.
