Remembrance Day observance: November 11th

All staff and students will be involved in our Remembrance Day observance (over the PA system and on the Bright Links in the classroom) from approximately 10:50am to 11:11am on Monday. Thank you to Mrs. Sorger and her students for leading us in this important ceremony.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair at St. Agnes will continue from Monday November 11th through to the end of day on Wednesday November 13th.

Fitness Frenzy Wrap up

Our Fitness Frenzy fundraiser was a tremendous success! Thank you to the countless volunteers who gave their time and energy to support our school fundraiser. This is such an amazing connection for our Healthy Schools certification efforts this year! We will be wrapping up the prize distribution this week, and we will announce our final tally to the entire school community.

PD day: November 15th

This Friday November 15th is a PD day which means no school for students. Staff will be engaged in Numeracy training with a focus on the Fundamentals of Math as designated by the Ministry of Education.

Christmas Eve Pageant

Please see details below regarding the Christmas Eve Children’s pageant.

All are welcome but it is important that participants make themselves available for the following dates:

Role assignments will be held Sunday November 24th 1-2pm

Rehearsal Sunday December 8th 1-230pm

Rehearsal Sunday December 15th 1-2:30pm

Dress Rehearsal and Gift Exchange Sunday December 22nd 1-330pm

The pageant will be presented after the Gospel on Tuesday December 24 during the 6pm Family Mass. Children must be at the church by 5:15pm on the 24th.

OUR ST. AGNES POINSETTIA FUNDRAISER is back this year! Please plan to purchase your flowers this year from our parish fundraiser, with all funds going to parish renovations. Our St. Agnes Poinsettias are blessed by Fr. Aleks. Order forms are available in the bulletin and in the vestibule. Orders are due November 24th
