Walking School Bus at St. Agnes!

St. Agnes School has been granted a walking school bus for the fall!

The walking school bus is a volunteer-led, walk to school program that will help to provide some supervision and learning about safety on a walking route to St. Agnes school. The main objectives of the program are to get students to walk to school safely, in groups, while giving parents/caregivers a break from supervising. Our route is attached below. Our volunteers are students (Tony and Mackenzie) from Wilfrid Laurier University.

This week, Tony and Mackenzie will be walking the route on Wednesday and Friday, handing out registration forms.

Next week, Tony and Mackenzie will walk the route on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with students who have registered. They will be at the start of the route by 8:50 a.m. They are able to provide this service so long as they have at least 1 student registered.

There will be a launch event within the next couple of weeks. More information will follow.
